Hey guys i was just wondering opinions on air intakes for the C5 corvette. I have heard that certain ones can increase the burbling many C5's have. Is this true? any suggestions?

Any of the following 4 TRUE CAIs:

Callaway "Honker": best fit and finish with a large filter, but rather expensive. Highest quality components i've seen in an intake.

Breathless Performance "vortex" Decent fit and finish at a reasonable price with cone style filter. Comes in clear air box or ABS black.

Vararam industries VR-B2: Uses Ram air effect for slightly higher volumetric effeciency at speeds higher than ~30mph. Fit and finish is questionable especially form the front. ZO6 screens or grilles are highly reccomended to prevent debris from getting in the intake.

WCC Hurricane: Littls known CAI with the Fitment similar to the callaway honker, but uses a unique filter.

Any Non-CAI (aka exposed filter design) is a waste of time and money unless you build your own Airbox.

Vararam is probably the best, but you need the complete kit which includes their air bridge too. That will run you about $500.Haltech,K&N,BBK, are all about the same for $300.
