Hi there, I have just started to look for a 2nd Vette and would like to go with a Z06, I currently have a 2003 C5, I do like the body styles of the C5 Z06 perferably over the new Z06's not to mentioned the C5 Z06 is closer in my budget! :D

I have owned a couple of Vettes, however never a Z06 and figured I would through this out there and see what responses I get back. Thanks for your help!

Try Autotrader... ebay or cars.com - when purchasing its like anything else, mileage, condition, price.

Just bought my first Vette and it was a Z06, all I can say to you is that the Z06's have some serious power! It nearly scared me driving it home yesterday!:D

Well the obvious things are,... look for one with lower mileage, but not to low, because it may not have gotten the driveing that it should have to keep all the seals and rotating parts lubed well. Looking for one that has mods already done that you yourself would probably do when you get one is a nice addition that you may save some money on. Newer tires are nice, since a set may set you back a few dollars. Get the color that you want, do not get a color that you like a little, you may regret getting your second or third choice color. make sure it has a clean title.
