You guys probably don't remember me but I met you guy's (Greg and Carl) at the Corvette meet on my base last week. Actually, I only talked to you Greg but you mentioned that Carl and his brother helped you out alot on fixing some of the problems on your sick ride!! As I told you I do have alot of friends that live in the LA area that are into performance cars, I shared with them the info off the flier you gave me and if those guys are good enough to work on your Vette then they are good to work on mine and my buddies rides, even if they aren't a quote unquote performance shop. You made a good point that as long as good quality work is getting done, who cares where you get the work done!! Anyways, thankyou for coming down and visiting us Marines, you guys have a great site and I will be visiting quite often!!
Semper Fi (I know you two understand that!)

I do remember you, and I remember that you are a Corporal, correct? I think that most people would agree that if their Corvette, or any car is having a problem, as long as the problem gets fixed correctly and in a timely manner while also at a good price then it really won't matter where the car was taken to!! That is why I got hooked up with Carl and John at "Independent Honda and Acura" because their knowledge of cars in general was up there with the best. From my experience with what has gone on with my car, I am confident that any future problems that you or your friends may have with your cars that Carl and his staff will be able to take care of it!! Now on a final note it was great meeting all of you Marines down there, and yes as a former Marine myself (as well as Carl) we do know what Semper Fi means! Have a great holiday and stay safe!

Greg.

I lived in LA (Hollywood) for a long time and now reside down the road in Torrance with my family. I usually take my Vette and my other cars to high profiled shops just because I have always felt that if you aren't widely known then you must not be that good. I have since learned that alot of the bigger named shop just spend alot of their $ on advertising and less on the techs doing the work on the customers car!! I agree with you Greg that as long as I don't have to worry about wether or not my car will be fixed properly, I won't care if it was worked on by Joe shmoe with a no name shop!! I will have to check out that place you are talking about when I need some work done. Do they work on all cars? And where are they located. Thank you.

Never judge a book by it's cover!! The name of the shop is Independent Honda and Acura and yes they work on pretty much all cars. They are located @410 E. FLorance in Inglewood. They are actually getting ready to assemble their Acura Integra that will be quite a terror on the road! It almost sounds crazy that someone would recomend a foriegn shop for someone with an American muscle car, but the proof is in the pudding when it comes to quality work! All their information will also be in Smokinvettes new Smokin yellow pages this week. Have a good day!

Greg.
