I have an '82 and it's behind my passenger seat. But I can't say for sure your's is there also.

Well the relay isn't behind the passenger seat. I should have said it's an early '79 (3 doors behind the seats). Late '79 2 doors behind the seats. I have 5 manuals and none of them tells the location. Next search will be under the dash and in the shifter console. If anyone knows the location for the wiper pulse relay please let me know. Thanks, Jim

I have an original GM Shop manual for a 1979 Corvette. I will try to upload photos that hopefully help you. I could type it all out and try to look smart but I'm not. I just have resources.2989

UPDATE, Thanks to y2kfrc the mistery relay is found in the front portion of the shifter console. I replaced it and still the wipers have a mind of their own, I think they're possessed. Thanks to all. I'll figure it out soon.
