: Will 96 Grand Sport rims and tires fit on an 85??

wanted to install some grand sport OE rims and tires but not sure if they will fit because some websites say they fit 88-96 others dont specify. So i am not sure if the C4's were changed from 85 to 88.

88-96 are interchangeable, for an 85 you would need adapters due to back spacing.

As noted they will bolt up fine but sit 3/4" inside the orginal wheel position

AFS make a GS copy with the correct offset to bolt straight up to 84 - 87 cars without adapters;
