What would you recommend. Do you think 3.42's would be too much? I don't have a TC and the normal bolt ons is all really. I have been reading that gears are the best bang for your buck!

I personally don't think that it would be too much but some may think so.

I'm considering 3.15 for 2 reasons:

a) with everyone going 3.42, there's a lot of pre-oened 3.15 gears lsying around for a great price.

b) keeps good milage and top speed with a significant gain over the 2.73s

I'm currently getting ~325 to the rear wheels, and i'm thinking about throwing on the "mike mercury" corque converter since i'll be in the area anyway.

....if that doesn't cut it, i'll throw on some 243 heads.
