OK, get this and help me out.

I've got a '90 (the one in my Avitar) that has the FX3 Ride Control switch in the console.

My VIN matches the number on the console arm rest so I know they belong together.

The sticker in my armrest has all those RPO numbers that you guys are aware of I'm sure. One of the numbers is FX3. (Ride and handling, Electronic)

So now I have the switch and matching RPO number that say I have the FX3 system so here's the deal ...There ain't no ride control gizmos on the shocks and I can't find them anywhere in the car, on the chassis or in the glovebox.:wtf: I can't even tell if they were actually installed exceot for the sticker and the control switch on the console.

The shocks atre just standard shocks and they look like they have been there for a long time.

What do you guys think?:1zhelp:

I think the previous owner disconnected the FX3.

Look in the storage compartment behind the drivers seat. I know on later models there is a n electrical connector for the FX3, about the size of a pack of cigs next to the ABS unit on the bulk head.

You know that's what I'm think too and removed it completely from the car except for the switch in the console. The guy I bought it from had been in the Army and got the car around Fort Bragg which tells me the previous owners had probably been military too...no problem there, I did about 29 years myself.:patriot:

The deeper I get into this car the more I find.:thud:
