Hi Roger - you may want to look on ebay my radio decided to stop working few months back and I found the exact replacement on ebay for $35! It was used - it actually looked in much better condition than my old one.

That's for sure, I am in the same boat as you in I need to take care of other pressing issues first and then I can move on to the radio!

I have a Bose radio that was new in 1991 (still in original packaging), never installed, that will work and was tested last month at a very good radio shop in Saginaw. It is guaranteed to work and it looks new. Contact me if you want it. $35 plus $15 shipping. I was going to put it in my 87 and even bought the connectors (since returned) for it. I opted for a new Pioneer with Polk speakers......jim

It does not have a CD it has cassette. It will work in a Corvette, Chevelle, or Cadilac from about 86 to 93 with the adaptor connectors that you can get here...You can ask these folks and they will tell you if it will work....the model# 16080121....they can tell you by the model # if it will work with your setup....jim

Where CD changers availible in 1992's? Mine had a cheesy aftermarket radio in it with a CD changer that works only half the time. Would like to go back to OEM, but would like to still have a CD changer? Any ideas guys?

See above for OEM....good to 93 with adaptor connectors. The shop said 86 to 93 it should work OK. I included the shop that did the test work in Saginaw and they are excellent. If you want OEM, for the year, you cannot do any better than the above. If you want a CD / radio I would recommend an aftermarket like a pioneer with upgraded speakers...jim

Dr Dons, and you get a great warranty, send it back every year as the unit gets very hot causing the player to die.
