Anyone know about this? If so the pros and cons on this. Does it realy give any extra power? Does it affect MPG?

Zip tie mod???

The zip tie mod is basically taking your stock air filter box apart. Only using one half and taking long zip ties(ty wraps) to hold the filter into the box.Then you cut out a hole in the radiator schroud so the newly exposed filter can get fresh cold air. Its a cheap and easy way to get some cold air into the intake

I would hate to know I did this to my Vette.
I would either leave it alone, or wait until I could afford an intake. :loser:

Yea, it follows the premise that the Z06 uses that indicates the stock filter does not flow enough air. (They change the fiter housing design on the Z06 to flow more)
Just go ahead and save up for a blackwing and drill some holes in your fog light covers (out of site of course) Or go with the vararam and get some BIG measurable gains :burnout:
