I bought my first Corvette a few months back. Now I've owned many sports cars over the years, mainly European ones like BMW's and I had one Porsche which by far was the best handling and had an amazing steering feel to it. Very responsive.

The biggest issue I have with my Corvette is that it just doesn't feel as tight in the heavy turns as I would like it to feel.

So I'm wondering what has worked for you performance drivers out there, what modifications did you make to improve the cornering behavior and steering feel of the car?

Have you looked at getting coil overs and changing out the sway bars?

Upgrade the shocks, sway bar and bushings should tighten things up for you.

That is one thing I would like to see in the Corvettes is a tighter steering feel to it, can they change the gearing in these steering set ups?

Cornerweighting & Alignment will help.

:iagree: You generally want to do this after other suspension parts added correct?

Can the steering gears be changed in these things for a different feel?
