Hey guys,
im lookin at installing an electronic exhaust cut-out on my car. i dont want to spend money on a whole system and i want to daily drive it and still have performance exhaust in the flip of a switch. I've been lookin at race ready performance's cut-outs and they look like a quality product, lifetime warranty and all. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any feedback appreciated
thanks

Alot of people where talking about the QTP set up, you might want to do a search on that set. The companies name is "race ready performance"?

This was discussed recently and although the QTP's were widely known, they didn't get a very good review. There was another brand that I think Tom Snitzer (hope I spelled the last name right!) knows about that is a better product.

I am not familiar with Race Ready, but if they have a lifetime warranty they should be fine. The other brand that we discussed looking into was DMH Cutouts. I don't have any experience with them but they have a better warranty that QTP.

my friend has qtp’s and they are junk. The butterflies kept coming loose and qtp won’t warranty them. They were only 3 months old. He sold them and bought a pair of Race Ready Performance cutouts hasn’t had any problems ever since so im gonna go with the race ready's because of the warranty you can't really go wrong.

I agree about the QTP's! I don't know how they got so big as a company but I have never seen one of their cutouts last more than 6 months!!!

I have a friend with the Quick Time product who's happy, however I never went with cut outs myself. Sounds like other folks had some issues with the QTPs.
Someone else recommended the project below(see link) , although I have no experience with them.
Good luck. PS. Snitzer spelled correctly!
