Anybody have any suggestions as to what, if any, suspension mods would benefit me.
This is my first corvette and, at my age (70+), my last. 2008 C6 base coupe with the six speed A/T & Paddle Shifters. I never have done any track time although I am considering local Gymkhana type racing. The only two complaints I have concerning the stock suspension are: 1) the car tends to "skitter" across the road on high speed corners. 2) seems to float on the suspension at high speeds.
Wondering if just the Pfadt Adjustable Sport Shocks alone would make a difference. I don't really want to sacrifice too much of the civilized ride of the stock setup.
Would something like Pfadt Coil Overs be an overkill....... too stiff? :wheelchair:

Have you modified/checked the stock suspension settings?

If not you may want to try corner weighting the car and getting a performance alignment before replacing parts. We have seen some very nice gains just from cornerweighting and aligning the stock suspension.

However, for your plans it may be quite a nice benefit to get the Pfadt Sport Shocks since they are adjustable as well.

One last thought: the class that you are competing in may dictate what you can or cannot do to the suspension.
