I am currently restoring a 1975 sting ray. I have completed the chassis w/ engine, and I am now stuck on the body. Is 1968 the earliest year body I can put on this chassis? If not, how early can I go?

The body of my 75 is in need of work in which I am not familiar with. The reason for an earlier model body is because I have put so much time and work into the chasis, that it will be worth more than I would ever get from a 1975 model.

Sounds like you have your hands full, if you don't mind me asking, you speak of being worth more with the '68 body? Wouldn't it be worth more with the OEM '75 body on it? Either way both body styles look amazing when restored?

It will once it is completed. I guess I was hoping that a pre-68 body would fit.

IMHO, you won't gain any value, due to it not being original body.
