Wow, I don't know how I missed your question and I really appoligize for not responding when this was going around the first time!

Yeah it was easy, I tied em into the parking light circuit at the front corners. I used Red Cold Cathodes and I hate em! The damn things are pink, so I'm swapping em for either Neons or an LED strip...

They claim more then you get from it I think, about all I can tell is it keeps your engine bay clean! :lol: When I got the car the bottom 6 inches of the hood liner was really dirty and stained, after installing the seal it's been clean and so has my entire engine bay....! Which I appreciate since freshening it up and painting the liner;

Whats the deal with the magnetic drain plugs?

Whats the deal with the magnetic drain plugs?

They pull metal particles out of the oil so they don't recirculate. Also gives you advanced warning of trouble if the "particle count" increases.

I just found these this morning that I'm going to pick up. For only $200 I think it will look pretty good on the car. They have all different colors. Personally I'm getting the yellow to match the rest of the car.

tstar, what kind of paint did you use to paint the C5 emblem on
your hood insulator. I have the decal but would like to remove it and try the painted version.

Could someone take some measurements on the hood seal? This sounds like a do it yourself mod that would help me keep clean under the hood. How long is the seal end to end? How thick is the seal?
