New here and wanted to see how easy or hard is this to install? Its a 2004 C5 that I have been working on for a bit, I have just finished making the exterior look like a Z. I just did heads and cam myself and pretty quick learner.

It's something that you'd need a 2-post lift for. We charge 9 labor hours and it involves removing the rear cradle, transmission/rear end and torque tube all as one to gain access to the clutch. Also helps to have a good transmission jack and at least 2 people doing the job when it comes to removing the driveline assembly.
Here's a picture I found of us doing one on a C5. You might as well replace the bearings and rubber couplings in the torque tube while you're at it since those will go bad over time and also install a DTE transmission brace (shown in picture). Other things we typically upgrade at the same time are new slave cylinder, remote clutch bleeder and sometimes a McLeod adjustable master cylinder.

Here's a picture of the shaft inside of the torque tube. To remove the couplers you need some Torx bits and you need a shop press to swap the bearings.

Speaking from experience, it's quite a hassle. I totally agree with David, you need a lift for sure. We've done a few clutches on friends' cars using a 4-post lift, but a 2 post would make it much easier.
A good transmission jack is a must, as well as some man-power. The more the merrier. The whole rear subframe comes down, rear differential, transmission, and torque tube as well. If you are going to try it on your own, good luck and take your time!

I can attest to this, with my C6 build we had to change out 3 slave cylinders and 2 clutches so count those up!!! Not a real tough job, but you have to know what you are doing and as already stated, two post lift and man power will make this job greatly easier!!
