I've spent the last 8 months replacing or rebuilding all of the mechanics on my 69 convertible. Now I have to install a new front end body (It came with a 73 version, I guess they pulled it out of a junk yard to save money) Has someone done this before?
Or if anyone knows of a "how to" book or video on this subject I'd appreciate it. i've ground off the old adhesive and have made the surfaces ready for glueing. I have the hand layered front end and the inner fender skirts ready (primed).Let me know thank-you

I did the same thing on a 68. It had a Ecklers 73 version and I replaced with a 68 Ecklers one piece. I fitted the front end with shims to represent the adhesive. Drilled some strategic holes for screw and nuts to reach the fit I wanted. I joined the wheel wells first and the body last. I cut the strap at the cowl for more flexibility.
