You'll find this very common with the Corvette, I switched over to ceramic brake pads and this squeaking will go away.

Hawk Pads will cut down the the noise

My '05 had the squeaky brakes when I bought the car also. Dealer swapped them out with different pads and they still squeaked. I ended up having to purchase ceramic pads and had the dealer install at no cost to me for installation. That did the trick, the cool part about it is the brake dust is a little lighter so you don't notice as much brake dust on the wheels.
