: 1984 vette , runs really bad khord 03-12-2009, 04:52 PM runs rough at idle, and when warm it has bad hesattion and cuts out and misses cant maintaian cruise speed , has 18 inches manifold vacumm , ign. system good. fuel pressure good, i changed rear injector did not fix problem, can anyone help me with this crossfire set up. thank you alot. kev 6179vetter 07-28-2009, 06:04 AM :burnout: Hi Kev: Get a can of starting fluid and be VERY CAREFULL !! With engine idling take the starting fluid and shoot SMALL little shots of it around the air intake manifold/ plenem area to see if the engine changes it's rpm/sound. This problem could be a vacuum leak problem. BE VERY CAREFULL THIS STUFF IS HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE. Good luck PS BE CAREFULL AROUND THE DISTRIBUTOR/ COILS/ GENERATOR OR ANYTHING THAT MAKES SPARKS !!!
