Is there like one manufacture of cams that supply them to companies like LG, England Green, etc? All these guys say their cams are the best. Who makes the most reliable with a camshaft? This will be going in a 2007 C6.

The one I have is a fairly common grind, medium lope, needs the cheapest aftermarket springs, 918s and new chrome moly pushrods. MTI of Houston installed it and made 427rwhp/401tq. and when I pulled it out I had kept all the boxes. Its a Comp Cam with the MTI spec 228/232, .588,.575, 113 deg. The Spec says LS1, but it fits the LS2. It would fit in your engine nicely along with the rest of this stuff.............

As to reliability of the cam - all depends on the specs as most are billet camshafts. With a very high lift cam, you will need to replace valve springs on a more regular basis to keep the performance up as the springs will decay somewhat in regard to spring pressure over time.

Comp Cams grinds almost all the LSx based cam shafts out there. LG uses them, England Green, us. . . There also Camotions, but I don't see a lot of their stuff anymore.
We just did a 2001 Z06 with a 233/239 .595/.600 @112 and made 419rwhp on our Mustang Dyno with a slipping clutch.
