Perry 03-10-2009, 03:04 PM I've been reading up on this thing and looks pretty interesting. Now I'm wondering how much of this is marketing and how much of this is actual fact. Any idea of how many police departments are even using laser compared to radar? Lowlevlflyer 03-10-2009, 03:58 PM There are quite a few departments in larger areas using laser instead of radar, but it still has not caught on that much. It's not quite as accurate as radar, and it's aquisition cost is quite a bit more than radar. Not sure about this particular product, but several of the others out there are alot of hype, nothing more. Make sure you check the legality of even using one of these in your state, or any state you plan on driving in, because in some (like Oklahoma), getting caught with one is sometimes a trip to jail and the impounding of your ride, or at the VERY least, confiscation of the device and a large ticket.:cheers: Lowlevlflyer 03-10-2009, 04:02 PM Oops!! scratch what I said about the legal issues of using a laser jammer device.
