I have a 2007 C6 and was looking to get the stock catalytic converter switched over to something with a little more performance to it. Who makes the best high performance catalytic converters. Putting this on the car should I expect a difference in sound?
Thank you.

Random cats High Flow
Problem is the stock headers are cast and its tough to weld in the SS cats. Most people get aftermarket headers around 1500-2000 plus install. you should tune too and while your at it a cold air intake.
BTW there are a couple of companies that make shorty headers

You will be much happier going with a full set of headers. If you want more sound especially and you will make more power with a full set of headers. Most will come with a set of high flow cats on them also.

:iagree: Definitely headers as their benefit is much more pronounced than cat-cons all by themselves.

Is there any brand better than others?

Kooks, American Racing and LG are few good headers you can pick from. All pretty close in performance gains.
