I just sold my girl! Nearly 174,867 miles - I believe a Vette needs to be driven and not stored in a garage so mine are always high mileage. I was looking at your photos - nice! And if I'm understanding you won it off of ebay? Cool ride

It depends on the location This car is coming out of New Mexico and has to be trucked up to Omaha( Now called NORTH POLE ) (We're under nearly 16 inches) it will run me around $1309 and the car will be inside a trailer for the trip up here

Well I'll try to keep it as original as possible - no major changes - as you read the first post about it there are lots of improvements to this vette - I'll probably get a linear acutator for the hood to power lift the front clip and close it ...... I think that will set it off a little (at the shows mainly) I want a CD player but would like to keep it original inside the car. as it stands.... i have added 13" drilled rotors in the front /11.5 drilled in the back....http://www.smokinvette.com/corvettephotos/data/502/medium/Front_Drilled_cryoed_brakes.JPG... VB&P Brackets to mount the Grand sport calipers and stainless steel brakes hoses.. I functionalized the hood, Its now ram-air... A set of polished factory shorties, a BE COOL radiator..

Hi, I also have an '84. I must say, it's not in nearly as nice a condition yours is, but I traded an "fixer up" '66 Chevy pickup for it, so I'm not complaining. At least I now own a drivable 'Vette:) .

Hi guys. I have an 84,mine was built in 1983 October says it on driverside door. I am putting ouy about 250, 260 HP with a few mods. I have 82,000 miles bought it from a collector had it for 5 years, Mods like Not really grtting into the motor,85, fuel pump ,ADS chip,Ram Air, Accel ignition module,HeI supper coil,B&M shift kit under drive pullys, I use Royal Purple motor & Trans. oil with 106 VP raceing fuel. Car Runs like a bandit. I get rubber on the first shift from 1 to 2 gear. I also am running no cat with free flow Targa exhaust. The sound is unreal. It is in storage right now I don,t have the vin number but it is two tone Siver top and Gray bottom. I would not trade it ,at Conn. and New York show last year I took 2 First places and 3 Seconds. The best was the MOROSO Vette Sho Of Conn took a First. Will try to send photos.

bought me my first one from a guy living at a marina moving out and had to get rid of the two he had. I got the silver one for $3000.00 and drive it everyday, while parking my 2007 Silverado HD with custom 20" wheels out on the street. My wife thinks I'm nuts but I've got big plans for this poor neglected classic!

I purchased my 84 last year from my mechanic for $1800 and a .45 automatic. 124 K miles. After having the dash rebuilt, slotted, drilled rotors, new oversized TBI's (53mm), k&N air filter, new weatherstripping, rebuilt leather-wrapped steering wheel, new console cover, multiple switches, and a $1400 stereo system. Recent smog passed better than my 2001 VW Jetta GLS VR6!
Future projects include replacing the power window motor assemblies, new upholstery and new paint. The girlfriend understands that the Vette and the guns are off limits.
