Hello everyone, My name is John Chesnut. I love Corvettes and I love high performance cars. I had the idea to design a race quality space frame to which C5/6 parts bolt into and skin the frame with several different light weight bodies. My cars are the ultimate performance toy. Just like a super bike, Ariel Atom, T rex, Ultima, Radical, and Lotus Super 7 are.
Here is my Cobra kit. It weighs under 2200lbs. I converted the Vette diff to accept a driveshaft so you can use any engine/trans combo. My car has an LS6 and T56 tranny.
My Cobra kit will blow all of those Mustang based Cobras away. So, if you are looking for a project please keep my cars in mind. For lots more info please go to www.chesnutmotorsports.com or www.dragonmotorcars.com. Thanks for your time, and let me know what you think! John

Not a huge fan of the lotus or the cobra, but that C5T looks amazing! I need to seriously consider that for my next sports car.

Maybe a new Cobra kit isn't really needed. I built mine because I wanted a modern Super Car with the classic look. This car handles like no other. At a racing event in Oct at Gateway International race track, it was the fastest car on street legal tires. This despite that my motor is stock and others had MUCH more power.

I really love my T bucket and I have been working to improve it. The new one keeps the same wheel base but because of the Diff conversion I am able to narrow up the body. It looks wild with the new headers and the tires really running wide. 1800lbs wet!!! Here is a picture of the previous one.http://www.dragonmotorcars.com/images/RG07TRodfred.jpeg
