i have an '86 vette with no cluster. i know someone that has an '84 cluster that might sell it. would this work in my '86?

Really it wont? Why wont it? Sure, it has sligtly different graphics, they changed the cluster angle and added a new trim plate. I had thought the inside were essentially the same though.

Hello.
I think it will work? It will look different but for the most part should work. We have switched all years around, They all seem to work in any year. You will need the trim plate for the year dash your installing.

yea.thats what i thought.well too late now. i just purchased an 86' digital cluster in perfect working condition for 200$ on ebay. lucky me.
