I see many of you are using the Predator Programmer, I have a '07 C6 and was wondering how much of this programmer are you using? I see it comes with a tune program to it. It also comes with HP and TQ stats and quarter mile.

How accurate have you found this thing to be? Was it worth the price you paid for it?

Does anybody have any opinions about it before purchase and then install it?

If you're talking about the HYPERTECH G-TIMER THING.The Hypertech gives you the ability to measure TQ/HP in the run.The predator is a canned tune that lets you adjust parameters in your car,but you don't measure 1/4 mile times with it-as far as I know. You can log all kinds of info during the run though.I've had both and they are different animals. The accuracy of the tech is dependent on you setting the correct weight and all that. It's a fun piece but don't go spen 200 bucks for a new one. They go used for 50-100 bucks.

I'll need to go back to their page, I thought that Hyperpac thing recorded 1/4 mile time. When you say getting in the correct weight are we talking about getting the car weighed? Is that how exact it has to be in order to get me the right numbers or close numbers? $50 to $100 bucks, I'll be searching around for a used one knowing that! Thanks pal!

Oh,the HYPERPACK thing. That's a different unit then I was discussing.Haven't had one of those yet.It doesn't do as much as the predator is one reason I didn't get it.Weight has to be correct for your runs to record the correct times.THE CAR'S WEIGHT W/YOU IN IT.Forget the 100 buck thing, that was for the G-Timer.

Gotcha, well I'm going to look around for a used one either way. If I can save a few bucks on a "novalty" mod, then thats money well saved.

Hey, thanks for help either way! :thumbsup3:
