New to smokin vette looking for some help! My 84 shows no check engine light when the key is on without the car running. Car runs fine just idles a little high, checked vacuum already. I followed the check list for the check engine light and have it narrowed to a bad ECM by way of power in to the ecm and good ground but no power out on the curcuit that turns the check engine light on, checked bulb already. The service manual says check the ohms in the canister purge solenoid, air switch solenoid and the air diverter solenoid. It says to replace any with less than 20ohms before you replace the ECM because this could damage the ecm drivers. All ohm tests read zero ohms. My question is will the car run fairly good with all these things not working? Last question is what are the chances of all these things being bad? Thanks for the help.
