I have a 64 coupe auto trans.Do you have to pull the motor to remove the trans?I sure cant get it out.Any advise?

I got a 63 with a standard trans. You have to pull it all apart to get the tranny out. Bellhousing and shifter must be removed to have the room since the crossmember does not unbolt. On an auto, I can only say I wish they had bolt in crossmembers.
