I've read do's and don'ts on fiberglass aftermarket hoods. But haven't seen anyone so far with Kenne Bell hood? It looks cool, but wanted to see about quality? I know they make great superchargers but didn't know about their hood till I saw it? What you think?

Do you have a picture readily availible? I have yet to see their hood but I know that their SC are of good quality.

I'm not familar with the Kenne Bell hoods. If you are considering a high rise hood in the alternative and don't like the Kenne Bell one, ACP makes a "magna extractor" hood which is tremendous. It's made for the maggie, but if you talk to the folks at ACP (Kerry) they can confirm that it will also clear the KB. I suspect it will.

Check link out and scroll done approx mid way. I have the air-extractor hood on my car, which is similar but without the clearance required for your SC.

Good luck.

:iagree: I wasn't aware Kenne Bell built hoods also? Tom, looks like you and I will have a some similarities, I have been looking at this forum for a few days looking at posts, looks like you really have a monster yourself you are building. I'm looking to take this 04 I just picked up and trying to retrofit it with twin super chargers. Figured this would be a little on the wild and fun side!

Brad, sounds like a great project. I responded to your post about the twin SC separately.

If you want the names of a few tuners to talk to feel free to PM me. Ed (late model engines) a forum vendor seems to be very knowledgeable and might be a good recourse. Good luck.

They have some great looking pieces there, I like that hood on the blue C6!
