Yes, you pay dues, mine is $50 a year. We have one meeting a month and plan get togethers and trips with our vettes, like going to Bowling Green Ky. It is not a lot of work,(unless your the president or trip organizer) just a group of people who get together and share their passion of corvette ownership. Our club is going to Old Orchard Beach Maine in June, we have 25 vettes going just from our club. Clubs aren't for everyone, but if your looking to do things with other vette owners its a blast.

Our Club does charity work, a lot is for our armed forces and veterans. We are a part of the adopt a highway program locally and clean it once a quarter or so.

So we do a lot for our community.

We have get togethers , meet once a month.

Some of the gals have a girls only cruise. Some folks like winery cruises, some like autocross. Various parades, many things to do.

The good thing about our club is the diversity of interests. One of our gal owners is quite good at Auto cross things.

We moved soon after we joined and didnt have much of a chance to do much, but now we are moved and fully settled in, we intend to do a little more ..

Why pay dues? Can't you just pay as you go(go dutch).

Does the president of the club let the power go to his head and order you around and force you to do charity work?

What are the dues for? Does it go towards satin jackets with your club logo on it?

Our dues go for a variety of things, club insurance, rental on meeting hall, supplies for the club, etc. We use part of the dues for raffle payments.

Our president is a presider, not power hungry. Mostly he just runs the meetings. Our volunteer work is on a volunteer basis only.
But normally we get enough volunteers to do things.
