Need help on my 86 vette. THE POWER ANTENNA is stuck in the up position. After checking the power plug I found it unplugged, When plugged in motor runs constantly with no mast movement. NEED HELP

I'd guess a broken ribbon. They are plastic and break easy...the good news is they are cheap and easy to install....look at any of the Corvette suppliers, Ecklers, Corvette Central, Mid-America, etc.
I'd think about $20.00 bucks will buy the ribbon, antenna tool and instructions..???

:iagree: I had the same problem with my 92 and it's most likely the ribbon...seems to be a common problem...DDBS
