Go to the attached link and scroll done approx 1/2 way to see some cool pics of my new race engine for the "track only" project car.
The 427 warhawk block is now outfitting and will be installed with the new tilton clutch next week. The engine will be running approx 13/1 compression and we are shooting for 700+ rwhp, NA.
Next with the drive train in place, the car is getting shipped to Joilet Il., to Eurosport Racing where we will complete the install of the Daley dry sump systems, install the radiators, 2 stage exterior oil coolers, diff and tranny coolers.
Then it's on to the suspension, cage and other upgraes. In addition to 3 way coil overs, the car is receiving new bearings and uprights to correct bump steer and bring the swing arms into proper alignment after we lower the car almost 3 inches!

Holy sh*t!!!! That is one amazing piece of art! All I know is that it is going to be so much fun to drive! And 700rwhp N/A, just when I thought that the 560 rwhp that "Smokinvette2" got out of his 402 was awsome you come along and destroy it!! Just awsome!! Keep us posted!

Nice work Tom!!! Its been awhile since we chatted about both our builds!! I am still working some of the bugs on mine but I am pretty happy with the outcome. Is it just me or did you up the ante with your build? I don't remember it being that crazy! At any rate I can't wait to see the finished product.
P.S. cgroxane, Thanx for noticing that Tom has destroyed my numbers!!! LOL!! I think Tom will say the same thing in that these are two different cars as far as drivability. Toms new car is going to be straight road racing monster and will most likely never see the public roads. Mine is my weekend warrior that I can still drive with comfort and have a nice cruise.

Thanks guys. To be fair to Smokinvette2, his car is far more versatile that mine. For street use, his is top drawer!!!!!
Mine is a purpose built race car that can’t venture on to the city streets. The reason I’m getting all that extra hp is I’m boosting the compression and burning race fuel.
I will be posting some new pics soon and will keep everyone up to date.
I can’t wait to get jumping on the suspension, brake and other upgrades!

Thanks Tom!! If I was a racer I would start to build my own road racer, however seeing that I am not I will enjoy just watching you complete yours. I would actually love to come and see it when it is done!!

Sorry for the late reply. I don't know if you ever take your cars to HPDE's but it's really fun. If you are ever in town you could drive at our track in your cars.
They close the track at lunch and believe it or not, I let friends try my car(with me in the pass seat); since the track has no other drivers and we keep the speeds low. Ironically, it's a lot safer than taking it out on the street.
