Pilot Sport A/S plus Run Flat, cheaper then the Goodyears and apparently a longer tread life. What are your thoughts on them?

Just the name "Michlein" implies quality. Never had a Michelin tire that did not last and last and last. Excellent road tire.

Well I see that the "Bully" attitude is back. I just spelled it the way that the original poster did so as not to confuse him:ownedbutton:

i have them on my car now and i like them. they do run slightly more narrow than the goodyears as far as tread width

That is interesting, if the tread width is 275 all 275 tread width tires should be the same width, since that is the measurement across the tread width. Are you comparing apples to apples or to oranges?

my bad.. what i meant was that they appear to look more narrow than the goodyear's because of the construction of the tire. The michelin's have a much more rounded sidewall than the flat sidewall of the f1's making them appear more narrow. i understand that the section width should all be the same, but they look more narrow and if i could go back, i would go up another 10mm in section width

:iagree: You should be able to get away with the wider tire.
