Need a little help here, after I put this performance tune on with my Diablo deal I'm getting code P0171? This is a fuel issue correct? Wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this. I don't want to screw with the fuel air ratio's with out getting some advice first. Thanks guys, I GREATLY appreciate your help!

Hmmmm its been a while since I have had a Diablo tuner but I would expect that they have a help section on their site? If memory serves me correct they have updates you can down load. What all have you done to the car other than the tune? What mods? When I had my diablo I just went with the cookie cutter tune that they offered, I really didn't get into the super custom tunes?

Did you scroll up to see if there was another code, like P0174?
If it is indeed just the one code, clear it and you should never see it again, unless there is an actual lean condition on the drivers side of the motor.

Thanks
Mike

Its great to see you folks here, as I was telling Max, my first custom tune was from your Preditor, and if I could tune the car with it, I'm confident anyone can!

Diablo heres a question for you, I have a C6 and my wife has a C5 will messing with the program void out warranty? And what happens when a car goes into dealer for service? I have friends who have heavily modified their cars and can't bring them to dealers no longer because dealers won't touch? What do you recommend?

If you have to go to the dealer, restore the original backup, and in less than 2 minutes, you are done. Simply reinstall the tune when you are done at the dealer.

Not sure I would get a non bias opinion, but will ask any way. Whats the difference between your hand held tuner from others out there? I know there is a few companies that make these. Mines not a C5 but a C6 if that matters in your answer.

Mines not a C5 but a C6 if that matters in your answer.Well, besides the excellent tech support available to our Predator users, the tools have tons of useful features, like end user adjustable parameters to allow you to fine tune your application for your specific mods or likes.
You get control over timing, fuel, rev and speed limits, idle speed, etc.
Plus the Predator supports custom tuning, so as your mods get wilder, you can go to any of our CMR dealers and have them do a custom tune on the dyno and then load that tune to your Predator.
You also get datalogging, code read/erase and internet updatability.

Thanks

So there is NO trace of the aftermarket tune at all? I have heard horror stories of dealers being pain in rear end and not working on cars. Personally my car I don't care, my wife would kill be if it became a problem with her Vette.

Hi Mike, I had called during business hours, but didn't get around to making the post till very late. With end of year my work schedule is pretty complicated. For example this week I'll be on the road most of the week. I have written down your contact information and will give you a another call this week some time. I won't have the car handy for any re programming, but perhaps we can discuss my problems and you can give me some tips, that I can do when I get back home. Or is it best to call you when I have the car handy? Thanks again for all your efforts!

What sort of gains can a manual C5 see from a programer like this? I was trying to tell a friend that the automatics see more because you can mess around with shifting points and such?

Are there any mods will get higher performance charts from your preditor? thx

Do you guys support all preditor owners? I'm thinking about picking one up off ebay and want to be sure that I still get support? Thank you.
