I was looking for better ride and was recommend to move to higher quality shocks. So Bilstein sports where ordered for me and just installed yesterday. You know what? I don't really notice a whole big difference in the cars ride? Is this me or have others experienced the same? Wondering did I just through $320 out the window?

Bilsteins are great shocks, I'm rebuilding my 2003 and have looked at picking up a set of those.

I think you can pick up these shocks on ebay for just over two bills? $320 is that including installation?

The Bilstiens are better then the stock shocks BUT you have an 02 and unless you're really stretching the car out at a road course you probably won't notice much difference as your stock shocks are still good.
Keep in mind that alot of aftermarket parts are put on after the stock components are starting to fail, in this scenerio even replacing with stock components will make a marked difference...
Bilstien Sports (Not the HDs) are on my list of future Mods...

Does anyone have any info on the Koni shocks? I was looking at a set of these but I didn't know how they compared to the Bilstiens. They are alittle more $ but I figured that they are probably a good shock and my stock ones are starting to go.

Well, I thought the Bilsteins would have been a big difference in the cars ride, so if I'm understanding your correctly I need to get out to the track to notice the difference?

To appreciate the difference, yes. I think Tom is better qualified to give you a better answer to be honest, he knows this stuff inside and out!

The Bilsteins are a great replacement. Plus the lifetime warrenty. If you want more performance go to a coilover, www.pfadtracing.com
Much more money.
