For cleaning and caring for the convertible top on your Corvette, we recommend a product called RaggTopp. It is probably the best stuff out there for your Vette's top. Check out this link for more information: http://www.autogeek.net/racotopcakit.html. If you own a C5 or C6, you want to be sure to get the top cleaner/protector for FABRIC tops.

Dawn generally is not the best soap for washing your Vette. Because Dawn is a dish detergent, it is designed to cut grease and oil. Therefore it will strip any wax or polish you have on your vehicles paint, leaving it unprotected from the elements. Specially designed Car Wash Soaps will not hurt your paint or strip wax.
