Hey guys I have finally found a place that actually has a borla in stock and on sale here:BOrla 140192 (http://autopartscorp.com/product.php?productid=152564) ,Im thinking of grabbing it cause they say they only have 1. Only thing is its not a stinger system from what I have heard every where they are all on severe backorder. Well my question is has anyone heard the touring system on their or someone elses zo6? I've heard a ton of stingers and stinger 2's ands loved the sound but never a touring any help would be greatly appreciated

Our Touring systems are much quieter than the S-Type (aka Stingers). The Touring systems are a bit louder than stock at idle. And when you step on it, you'll be able to feel & hear the deep, low-tone growl that's significantly louder than stock. It isn't as aggressive as the S-Type, as we did design this system for the folks who prefer a little more subtle exhaust note.

Another option might be searching through YouTube.com for the Borla Touring system. Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with.

This is what I'm really curious about.
I am also very interested in the same system, the Touring model, however, I've modded the stock system on my Z06 to have the exhaust valves "open" all the time. Similar to the "wild" on a "wild to mild" set up. Only mine are always in the "wild" position, my question is this;
Would the Touring model be louder or quieter than my current set-up? Your help here would be greatly appreciated...Thanking you in advance.

thanks for all the help guys unfortuantely no matter whom I called the borla's were all sold out. I decided to go with the magnaflow 16670 (http://magnaflowplanet.com/product.php?productid=6212) I was scared it may not be what I wanted but its was so cheap I think it was worth the chance. I love it. I highly suggest to anyone else in the same boat I was in.
