Now at Southern Car Parts....

Do you hate the 1-4 skip shift installed on the C5 Manual Transmission? This little device will eliminate that annoying issue.

This kit will allow you to disable the Computer Aided Gear Selection (CAGS) feature of your C5 Corvette's 6-speed gearbox. This kit uses genuine Delphi Packard Electric Systems division connectors, plugs and seals to protect your wiring harness and CAGS solenoid to allow you to re-connect the harness for full CAGS function, if you so desire. This kit is designed for use on both the standard MN6 Corvette's 6-speed gearbox and also the M12 Z06 Corvette's 6-speed gearbox. No permanent modifications are required to install this product.

Takes 5 mins to install and is easily reversible.

Each Kit comes with complete installation instructions.

NOTE: This kit will prevent the CAGS solenoid from engaging but the "1 to 4" light on the dash will still illuminate when skip shift conditions are met.

Where does this install from? The interior, or the underside of the car?

Thanks!

It goes on the side of the tranny under the car.

Come on, takes balls to post in someone else's thread.....But then to charge 7 bucks for shipping on a $20 part is insane:drool5: Do you really think you will steal business from me by doing this? At least get a competitive price before you jump in my thread.

Best case is just turn off CAGs when having PCM custom performance tuned as now the CAGs wiring can be left stock and thus if car has warranty and at dealer and if they see a CAGs sim plugged in they are to void the trannie warranty.

That's true! However, not everyone goes to get their car custom tuned. The eliminator device can be unplugged as easily as it is installed, so my recommendation would be to just take it off before visiting the dealer.

Thanks,
Dave
