This was taken in my backyard on the Evening Glory vine that we had, if you have never seen these flowers they open up right about at sunset, and they are about as big as your hand, very large in my opinon for a flower on a vine.

We noticed that this large moth would come around and be attracted to the flowers, here is a shot of them both together.

Nikon Digital SLR D-50 18-55mm Nikon lens set on Auto I think it has been a couple years.

This image is not tocuched up, it is in its original form, I did crop a little of the edges off to take a protion of the house out of the shot.

WOW !!! Thats one great photo guy it's just outstanding work. The flower and moth looks fantastic with the way you captured the background. :banana:

That is super cool. At work in the early to mid summer each year, several times each year, HUGE moths just like that can be found in our fab shop which is lit up bright all night (24 hr operation). We get several different types including the ones with the large 'eyes' on the wings. Never see them in person any other time.
