Just wanted to drop back in to wish each and everyone of you a Happy Thanksgiving. I know you'll all overeat and fall asleep during the football games. Now if you had a ride in my blown '66Vette, THAT would keep you awake! Later, guys! :cool: Glenn

I've seen you around the other fourms. Love your car. Have you run it in the quarter mile? Just curious, cuz it looks sick fast from that vid clip!
And did you post your car in the contest? You should, man! :cool:

Thanks. No I haven't entered yet. As for 1/4 mile times, nothing serious yet, only a couple of 1/2 throttle shake down passes (12ET 100mph) to help me get use to the new Turbo 400. It had a 5 speed in it before and the reverse valve body is taking some time to get use to shifting with. Not sorted out yet. I'm anxious to get back, but money is tight all over, as you probably know. Other items are more important right now. Glenn

Can you imagin planning on taking your car apart just before one of the largest shows in your local area? :confused:
I did! :eek::confused:
Just a few days before the Daytona Beach Street Rod's Thanksgiving weekend "Turkey Run" show at the Daytona Speedway, I pulled the radiators and fuel cell out of my '66 Vette, 'LOVE IS BLUE'.
I've had some overheating problems during this past summer while the temps have been 95-100, so I'm redesigning the Be Cool radiators...(one of the prices you pay for living in Paradise!)
Actually, Tom DeWitt in Michigan is doing the work for me. I boxed them up and UPS'd them up to him yesterday.
And I figured while the car is down, I'd also make a couple of changes to the custom fuel cell I built a couple of years ago. I'm adding a P/U sump at the back instead of the normal P/U tubes that came with the cell. I'm going to increase the size of the lines to the pumps while I'm at it. Guess we're NEVER finished with these toys, are we?! It's just my timing need to be adjusted I think. :cool: 'Happy Thanksgiving'. Glenn
