: Air cleaner clearance problem Man In Black 11-18-2007, 02:05 PM I have a 68 Corvette with a small block , edelbrock performer intake and a carter AFB performer carb . The hood will not close with an air cleaner on . Is anyone running a drop base filter with this combination and if so, what brand and part # if you have it. I have the stock small block hood.
