Second what sort of mods can be done to a transmission, any gains? I know people with both auto's and manual transmissions that are behind some serious power. One of the guys in my auto club has over 900HP in a Mustang. Alot of people just want to pump up there power but fail to beef up the one area that really needs to be beefed up. This would be the tranny and the rear. Very good point, while the original poster is at it, and the car is all apart, that's a good time to install some heavy duty output shafts in the rear diff. A few hundred dollars now will save a lot more money/headache later. Ed | |
