I start it up to take the wife to work, and the car starts throwing codes all over the place. Service Engine Soon and Reduced Engine Power and Lost Communication codes everywhere.

I narrowed it down to three codes currently, the first is the 1064, which is loss of communication. And since I've lost comm to most of the modules, I already know I'm in bad juju!

The IPC codes of 1160 and 1176 keep coming up, also. The 1160 is also a loss of communication code. I'm still searching for the 1176 code.

I'm guess the battery is dying. I also lost my fuel gauge, and the passanger side door won't lock and window won't work.

So it's a fun morning of electrical problems for my baby Z!

Well most of the mess was simply a battery issue. It usually is, I've found. I unhooked, cleaned terminals, let it sit, then rehooked it back up and all the codes are gone.

I still have no power window or door lock on the passenger side door. I replaced the 10amp fuse under the foot well for the Right Door Control Module (30), but it looked okay, and turns out, it is. Still no power. So auto locks don't set on that side, and that window's not moving!

I also discovered there is no key hole on the passenger side door. I never noticed that before! I have to lock and unlock it while I'm sitting in the car.

I also dropped the fuse puller down behind the fuse block in the foot well. And I have no clue how to get it out. How it happened, I dunno, but that puppy's staying in there for a while!

Anyone have an idea what else I can check to get power back to the right side door?

the battery is the first place that I would always check when codes start popping up!
