corvetteenvy 01-07-2009, 03:05 PM I bought this battery about a year ago and then I took it out of my car about 3 months ago and it is now dead in my garage. This was an expensive battery and I would hate to throw it away, is it still good. Can I just recharge it? Thanks

What type battery is it? Gel filled or standard electrolyte. I still do something most say is not necessary. I don't store on concrete. Make sure battery level is up. Slow charge for extended period until battery is fully charged. Have a load test done on battery.
