Does anyone know what the procedure is for bleeding a NEW master cyclinder, with NEW booster for power brakes? I have a 75 Vette and just got a new aftermarket M/C and booster and of course with no instructions on how to bleed the M/C. The unit is delco style but not stock. I guess I'll have to bench bleed it first but not sure how?
Thanks

Is there a bleeder kit packed into the box? It's usually a couple of plastic fittings that fit in the brake line outlet holes and two small pieces of clear plastic tubing that fits overthese 2 plstic fittings and into the brake fluid chambers.
You fill the chambers with brake fluid, put the hose into the fluid in each chamber and pump rod with a screwdriver (slowly) or something until all the air goes out of the tubes. When you see no air bubbles the cylinder has been bled. Put stoppers in the brake line holes until you install it on the car.
After installation you will probably have to bleed the brakes at the wheels on the car.
