My shifting boot has been torn for some time and it bugs me. I have ordered a new one, but have no clue how to remove the old one? Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks so much

Pull off your shift knob and unclip the internal plastic ring around the bottom of the boot. Then relpace your boot unto the plastic ring and snap it down, very simple...
