Friends call me Tex, I'm new here, I own a 2005 Dodge pickup, some ATV's and a 2004 C5 Corvette Coupe that I enjoy working on. I have recently bought some Z06 wheels and would like to paint them myself? Are there any tutorials or tips available for the do it yourselfers? I have a compressor and garage full of tools and feel comfortable I could do it, just looking for some tips from those that might have done this already!

You have all sorts of toys! BTW welcome to the smokinvette. If you have a spray gun I bet you could do it yourself. Not sure I would try to paint with just spray cans of paint? Are you going to color match to car?

I do have a paint gun to use with my compressor. Its nothing fancy, and has never been used. I guess I hoping to get some ideas of whats the best paint to use, procedures, etc.
