On my 1999 Convertible the top always leaks when it rains. When I have the car wash or I wash it as well it leaks?! All the seals seem in good condition, there are not tears, visable damage or weathering? Any ideas?

On my 1999 Convertible the top always leaks when it rains. When I have the car wash or I wash it as well it leaks?! All the seals seem in good condition, there are not tears, visable damage or weathering? Any ideas?

I had same problem, replaced the seals that looked ok and problem went away.

I’m not familiar with the convertible weatherstripping but if it is the folded over type you can insert a rubber tube up, like a small vaccume line, under the fold and expand the weatherstripping making it seal again.
