Hi! I've used a trickle charger the last two winters as my car sits in my garage waiting for spring. Keeps battery nice and charged as i will start car every other week. Works great, glad i got it.

Get a battery maintenance charger, it's about the same thing but made for keeping battery's charged over long periods of time. I use one on the Vette and one on the Harley, I'm told it will about double the life of the battery....and in the case of the Vette, it will prevent burning the 12 volt feed wire to the alternator

I usea brand called ---Battery Tender---Works like a charm. It is not a charger as it will not charge a discharged battery. It contains a micro processor that keeps a fully charged battery at the proper level. You can keep it plugged in for months at a time.

Just start it once a week for 15 minutes and let the engine feel alive again.

I use a battery minder/charger as well. Works great. I use it on my motorcycle and RV as well. In addition, I park the car on styrofoam mats (Flatstopper) which are designed to prevent flat spotting of tires on cars that are stored for long periods of time.

A Trickle Charge will work Great. But DONT buy a CHEAP one, Two week ago a good customer of mine bought one on E-Bay for $1.99, after being hooked up to his 93 vette for 3 days Something Went Horribly Wrong with the Charger. Last Friday night his 93 Corvette and the 58 Corvette parked next to it Burned to the Ground. Luck for him the Fire Dept saved the House and Him (sleeping at the time). The 93 is for sale if any one is looking for a parts car let me know and i will send some photo's. There's a few good parts left.

I use a float type charger. Made to maintain a charge on your battery, and not over charge it. Hutch
