I was reading that to clean a steer wheel you need to just use a damp rag??? Is this correct? I've been using the same conditioner and cleaner that I use on the rest of the interior.

It's made from leather, personally I use a good leather cleaner and conditioner. Contact the Detail Dude here (Mike)

Excellent products that I personally use and will recommend.

I also use a leather cleaner then apply a leather conditioner to all my leather wraped steering wheels.

:iagree: Thats what I use also, I wouldn't think there was any difference in care for the steering wheel, its leather so use the same as the rest of the cars leather interior. :)

Just make sure you don't use something like Armor All on your steering wheel, as it makes the leather slippery.

:iagree: A good leatyher cleaner and conditioner will do wonders for your steering wheel. You'll be amazed how much dirt comes off of it. I wash my hand a million times a day, and I still get dirt. Can't avoid it!!
