Ok, if you could choose to take either of the following vettes for free, absolutely no charge, which would you choose and WHY? ( A friend just asked me this question and I said I would put it before the panel!)

1) 1996 LT-4, with heads, cam, header package making 375-ish HP at the rear wheels. In excellent condition

2) 2002/3 Z06 relatively stock, great condition also

I say the '96 LT-4, only because i prefer the C4 style and it will be a more collectable car down the road.

2002/3 Z06 relatively stock Because you can always build more power out a LS than a LT motor

It belongs to a friend and he has it for sale. :drool5:

$44,000 and he is very frim on that. Beyond what you can see in the photos is a mile long list of mods.

C-5 my man, I'll take a stock car before one that has mods added to it, don't know where it's been or how it's been treated.

I had a 96 LT1 (not a LT4) and an 02 Z06. Both very good cars.

My choice would be the Z06. It handled and braked better.

I liked how the LT1 pulled through all gears and RPM ranges.

I liked both cars. Each car has it's pros and cons.

I would take the C5. Who the hell would want an opti?

That is why they scrapped that engine after only after 5 years. I bought a tpi for that reason alone. opti-crap:DeadHorse: :blahblah: :nopity:

I would go for the Z06. I have my C4 ZR-1 already so a C5 Z06 would look great beside it.

well, it seems there isn't much support other than the C5! Anyone actually not pick the C5?
